B I O
Gonzalo is an industrial engineer who worked for a big oil company before changing direction and starting as a photographer.
He worked for a year in Buenos Aires as an assistant and then as a principal photographer in a reputable advertising & automotive photography studio. In 1999, Gonzalo returned to Madrid where he lives and works today.
He has won Gold in the advertising category at the LUX awards in 2004, 2007 and 2009, as well as Gold in the still life category in 2009 and some Silver and Bronze in 2008 and 2009. His photos have been published in Luerzer´s Archive, and have won many prizes at the most important international festivals including Cannes, El Sol, New York Festival, Clio, Fiap, London International Awards, and others.
His studio offers digital photography, retouching and, more recently, CGI.
Last year 2009 he was named as the second best advertising photographer of the decade in Spain. As well as he has been the most awarded add photographer in year 2009 ('El publicista' magazine)
